Some People Shouldn't Keep Blogs

Hmmm. Why can I never find anything to write about? Other people post weekly, or even daily. What's wrong with me? While I don't write professionally, I've always been a decent amateur writer, but when I think "blog" I freeze up and can't think of ANYTHING to say.

Why do I want one anyway? I suppose I thought it would be a great way to keep track of all the wonderful (and some not-so-wonderful) things that happen in my day to day life. But I haven't posted here in almost a year, even though many notable things have happened in the past few months--We got the puppy I was talking about last year (a totally beautiful, delightful Shiloh Shepherd that's just over 8 months old now), and a few months later (this past March) our older dog, Merly, passed away. Surely those are things I want to write about here.

But I didn't. Should I delete it, forget about having one at all? Posting once a year just doesn't seem to cut it! Maybe I should pick a theme--like puppies (we just put down a deposit for a second Shiloh), or Wicca (Beltane is coming up in a couple of days), or gardening (not that I do a whole lot of that in my current location), or . . .

Sigh. We'll see. I'm in the midst of trying to change my life right now (get more organized, etc), maybe this will be a part of it.
